1. Vacations

Every year, employees should be allowed to take one week off work to relax and recharge. These vacations can be spent away from the office or at home, but it is important that they are used for rest and relaxation only. The vacation should be paid by the company so the employee does not feel like they are losing out on wages.

2. Workshops on how to handle stress at work

The company should offer two workshops every year that teach employees how to manage stress at work. These workshops should include tips on how to work with others and how to avoid burnout from too much work or too little sleep. They should also cover topics such as meditation and yoga, which are proven methods of managing stress levels in both the workplace and outside of it!

3. Onsite help for wellness/mental health

Companies need an on-site doctor who can offer advice about mental health issues including depression or anxiety disorders; a psychologist who can provide therapy sessions; or even a medical professional who specializes in nutrition so they can discuss diet changes with employees when necessary.

4. Promote wellbeing

Offer access to apps that can help with sleep and reduce stress.  Build as much flexibility as possible into all employee schedules.

5. Establish an employee assistance program (EAP)

Many companies use an employee assistance program (EAP) to support employee wellness and mental health in the workplace.
